Whiplash
Whiplash is a neck injury due to a sudden movement of the head forwards, backwards or sideways mostly caused due to motor accidents. The tissues connecting the muscles and the bones of the neck are damaged.
Whiplash may display the following symptoms:
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Shoulder pain and stiffness
- Jaw pain (temporomandibular joint symptoms)
- Fatigue
- Arm pain and weakness
- Back pain
- Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
- Disturbances in sight and lots more.
